Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Good understanding of X86 Assembly language and Architecture.
• Good understanding of the UEFI architecture.
• Ability to debug and provide effective fixes to the issues found in BIOS.
• Good communication skills to do excellent stakeholder communications via emails and in meetings
• Good analytical skills required for the analysis of bugs
• Experience in firmware product validation.
• Pre/Post silicon validation on the Intel platform is an added advantage.
• Must be very familiar with QA and validation process
• Familiar with defect management tools and updating them with defect analysis.
• Knowledge of PC architecture and BIOS/UEFI boot flow ( good to have )
