Job Description

To reproduce issues across all platforms To root cause the using Knowledge of build, version control & debugging tools. Responsible for using ITP or any other debugger tool to root cause Responsible to sync with developer and tester if any input required Experience in updating in sightings.

Experience in documentation of defects, processes, and procedures, knowledge/experience of bug life cycle management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in Debugging FW/Embedded SW issues on OS and OS-less systems, preferably at FW level.
  • Experience as a Lead in tracking the filed sightings, driving them to closure with offline and required execution via hosting joint Task forces across geos with inter-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues and interface with appropriate product teams on issue resolution on end to end basis.
  • Experience in publishing Reports, documentation of defects, process and procedures, knowledge/experience of bug life cycle management.
  • Participate and contribute in Code reviews with the Dev team.
  • Knowledge of and experience with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, in-target probes(ITP), and Lauterbach (LTB)
  • Excellent programming knowledge in C and Python languages.
  • Knowledge/experience in using the build, version control & debugging tools.
  • Good communication skills to do excellent stakeholder communications via emails and in meetings
  • Good analytical skills are required for the analysis of bugs & logs.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics and communication, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-5 years working experience in Firmware/embedded domain.
